74Sim is an open source simulator for 74 series logic chips. You place chips on a virtual breadboard, wire up switches and LEDs, and use buttons and switches to interact with the logic chips.
It's designed for students, hobbyists, and educators who want the feel of working with real hardware without the cost, or wire strippers. Every gate behaves like its real world counterpart, so the circuits you prototype here translate directly to the bench.
Features
- An extensive library of 74 series logic chips.
- Place components with a drag and drop breadboard interface.
- More then just 74 Chips, simulate 555 timers, resistors, capacitors, and CMOS 4000 series chips
- Simulation for diffrent chip familys: LS, HC, HCT.
- Educational and Helpful documentation.
- Circuits built mirror the behavior of physical parts, so designs move cleanly from the simulator to a real circuit.
